Opinion: Travis Kelce singing Viva Las Vegas in postgame speech should've given Taylor Swift 'the ic -

It happened, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs took home the Super Bowl title, and along with it came a rendition of Viva Las Vegas. Taylor could be seen clapping along in the crowd, and I’m sorry to say, but I’m not sure how she didn’t get the ick just a tiny bit…

Travis Kelce may have been taking lessons from Taylor Swift as the NFL champ as he proceeded to scream Elvis Presley’s Viva Las Vegas into the microphone, after being known for his famous rendition of the Beastie Boys’ Fight For Your Right. We don’t think Tay will ask him for a collab anytime soon, but he’s more than good enough at his day job.

Travis Kelce gets the crowd going with Viva Las Vegas rendition

Not that the crowd needed any more hyped up after the epic win, but Travis Kelce proceeded to do so anyway with his Viva Las Vegas rendition on the stands.

As the 34-year-old got onto the celebratory stand, he proceeded to shout: “Chiefs Kingdom! Y’all hear this? We’ve been fighting for our right all day,” (you may have to listen a few times before you can make out what he’s saying).

Then, the big show started. Travis Presley (said no one ever) went on to sing, well Kelce mostly screamed, the words “VIVA LAS VEGAS” down the mic, three times. And he wasn’t holding back, as he went on to point towards the crowd, with Swift in it.

Don’t get us wrong, I stan Travis as much as the next person, but this was giving drunk Uncle on the karaoke machine vibes. I could barely watch from behind the screen, and if I were Taylor Swift (which unfortunately I am far from) I would’ve gotten the major ick. However, it seems like she definitely did not.

The music icon’s reaction was shown on camera, as she seemed to proudly look on, clapping and smiling. Some may say she did look a bit ‘awks’ at the end, but it’s not like she’d ever come out and say her boyfriend gave her the ick, so I guess we’ll never know.

To be honest, he just won the Super Bowl, he’s free to do as many ‘icky’ things as he likes. But we don’t think he’ll be getting any calls to marry people in Vegas, let’s just leave it there.

Travis turns into a meme for life – but not for his singing

An internet icon, this is a match Kelce will never live down. Especially, his ‘drama-filled’ disagreement with coach Andy Reid, where he can be seen ‘screaming’ into the coach’s ear.

Memes have been flying around the internet, and we don’t think they’ll be slowing down anytime soon. Our personal favorite is one simply captioned “WHERE IS JUSTIN BIEBER?” and half the internet agrees with this one.

The Yummy singer sent fans wild when he was pictured landing in Las Vegas ahead of the Super Bowl, as rumors were flying that he’d be joining Usher for his half-time show, to perform Somebody to Love. We were all so excited to be taken back into our teen years, only to be shown videos of the star sitting in the crowd.

Although we love Justin Bieber and Hailey’s content, last night, we would’ve loved Biber and Usher’s content even more. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen but with the Biebs back into performing we’re hoping they’ll reunite on stage soon.
