Okay, Motomami. Rosalía proved that strapping motorcycle style and frilly cottagecore are a match made in heaven when done just right—and if anyone can pull it off, it’s the “Despechá” singer.
This week, Rosalía was spotted on the streets of New York City in a dreamy eggshell ensemble with edgy pops of black.
For her base, the Spanish songwriter chose a paper-white flowy dress that featured a lacy ruffle hem on the skirt and a band of see-through knitted material across the empire waist. The slightly pleated maxi dress made it look like the pop star was off to pick flowers in a garden—but her cropped jacket told a different story.

To match the dress’s hue, but contrast it in style, the Grammy winner added a cream motorcycle jacket, which looked like a straitjacket that Rosalía had busted out of, thanks to the row of black studded belts hanging unbuckled from the sides. These stylistic girdles continued all the way down the outerwear and onto the sleeves, and one belt even wrapped around the jacket’s collar.
In an effort to match these accoutrements, the singer threw on a pair of black leather boots with ruffled material. The wrinkly footwear featured thin brown straps that stretched across the toe cap, and heels curved inward at an unusual angle.

This is the sort of thrilling creativity we’ve come to expect from Rosalía, whether she’s pairing a sky-blue ruched dress with furry red heels, or livening up a grungy all-black ensemble with bright pops of pink.
