Taylor Swift is linking Travis Kelce up with music royalty, as she was seen introducing his father, Ed Kelce, to Sir Paul McCartney inside the VIP suite at Allegiant Stadium.

The two music icons go way back, even doing a joint interview together in 2020 for Rolling Stone. The Beatles legend was also introduced to Travis Kelce‘s brother, Jason Kelce, as he and Taylor Swift watched the Kansas City Chiefs rise to Super Bowl victory.

In a cute interaction, the Cruel Summer singer was spotted standing in between Ed and Paul, as they shook hands, meeting for the first time. We’d love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation, but unfortunately, there’s no audio available.

Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter were loving the moment, as one wrote: “It’s so WHOLESOME I LOVE IT!”

“Taylor Swift casually introduced Paul McCartney to her boyfriend’s dad. Ed Kelce is one lucky man!” exclaimed a second.

The 81-year-old wasn’t the only celebrity in the Kelce box. Swift was joined by a number of her A-List friends, including bestie Blake Lively, Ice Spice, and Lana Del Rey.

Jason and Donna Kelce were also in the box as they all proudly watched on and celebrated as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers for the title in a nail-biting game.

McCartney and Swift were set to headline at Glastonbury Festival in 2020, however, unfortunately, the festival didn’t go ahead due to the Covid pandemic. It looks like we all missed out there, as the Let It Be singer told Rolling Stone he would have sung Taylor’s hit single, Shake It Off.

Just like the Justin Bieber and Usher collab that never happened, we’ll have to keep our fingers crossed that we’ll get to see it one day…

Ed Kelce praises Taylor

Ed Kelce has had nothing but good words to say about Taylor ever since she started dating his son, and now, he’s singing her praises further.

“Every game there’s people crowding outside the front of that suite trying to get a glimpse of Taylor, wanting to meet Taylor,” Ed said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, pre-Super Bowl. “Taylor’s very gracious, but she can’t do everything.”

However, he then went on to tell the publication that if it was up to her, “she’d be out there with everyone who wants her.”

From last night’s game, it looks like the dads get along too, as Ed Kelce and Scott Swift were seen chatting and laughing away in the crowd together.
